Rory O’Malley

Rory O’Malley is a Tony-nominated actor best known for originating the role of Elder McKinley in The Book of Mormon on Broadway. He also starred as King George III in Hamilton on Broadway and at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, and made his Broadway debut in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

On screen, Rory has been featured in Dreamgirls, Modern Family, Grace and Frankie, American Princess, Central Park, NCIS, CSI: Las Vegas, the Frasier revival, and ABC’s new series High Potential. He recently starred in the London premiere of PLASTERED, directed by Jerry Zaks.

As an educator, Rory brings the same dedication and joy that defined his stage career into the classroom. He is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop their craft, and discover their unique artistic voice through acting and musical theater. Drawing from years of professional experience, Rory creates a supportive environment where performers of all levels can grow in skill, creativity, and self-expression.
