Elisa is a Guatemalan-American multidisciplinary artist from LA. An actor, poet, director, designer and techie, Elisa is dedicated to creative healing and collaborative art. Elisa is part of the Justice for My Sister Collective and a Teaching Artist with The Geffen Playhouse. An Alumni of UCSC’s Rainbow Theatre, Elisa has played with El Teatro Campesino, SITI, Actors’ Gang, Bilingual Foundation of the Arts. Stage credits include: Saint Joan, La Casa de Bernarda Alba, Electricidad, As You Like It, Homeward LA, and SOMETHINNNGISALWAYSSSWRONGGG. She’s directed SP!T (Hollywood Fringe ‘15), Quetzal y Colibrí (Encuentro ‘17), and Baggage (Son of Semele, QCT ‘19). She’s told stories for KPCC’s Unheard LA, Teatro Luna’s Talking While Female and Other Dangerous Acts, Ensemble Studio Theatre’s True Stories. She’s performed her solo show GOOD ENOF at UCLA, Highways Performance Center, The Bootleg and The Moss and is preparing to present the next incarnation of this story.
