Clayton

Singer
From a young age, Clayton grew up in the smokey green rooms of Los Angeles Jazz clubs, humbled by the virtuosic talent that would pass through. Influenced by classic crooners such as Nat King Cole and Billie Holiday, Clayton sets out to ultimately pay homage to the art form through storytelling and songwriting. A deep connection to a love once lost and the struggle of making it as an artist in Los Angeles create a strong backstory for his lyrical agenda. The music, he hopes, can act as a foil the this subject matter, bringing warmth and harmonic complexity while providing a bed on which a certain heaviness can lay it’s weary wandering head.
