Carolyn Mignini

Actor/Singer

Carolyn has spent her professional life as a stage, television and film actress. Most recently, she appeared on Broadway in Roundabout Theatre’s 2019 production of The Rose Tattoo opposite Marisa Tomei. On HBO’s The Deuce, she spent three seasons as Maggie Gyllenhaal’s mother, Patricia  Arquette’s boss on Showtime’s Escape At Dannemora, directed by Ben Stiller and Worth for Netflix. Later this season, she’ll be seen in The Sterling Affairs for FX and Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer. She’s also a featured character in a Sony video game. ​​Carolyn began in New York with musicals, both on Broadway and Off-Broadway. Highlights include: a Drama Desk Nomination for her for her role as “Anna Held” in Tintypes, Fiddler On The Roof, The Fantasticks, Christoher Durang’s A History of the American Film and Sister Mary Ignatious… Long a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, she’s loves participating of the development of new works. ​​Moving to Los Angeles to raise her family, she compiled a long list of television credits including: The Practice, Picket Fences, Mad About You, Chicago Hope, , Murphy Brown, Touched By An Angel, Wonder Years, Newhart, Family of Spies and Days of Our Lives, to name a few.  She and her husband, actor Steve Vinovich now split their time between NY and LA, busy as ever with work and family.
