Drummer, composer and educator Ana Barreiro is an active musician based in Los Angeles-CA with deep roots in Brazilian music and Jazz. Originally from Poços de Caldas, a town located in the Southeast region of Brazil, with a Bachelors degree in Drum Performance from Berklee College of Music and a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California; the drummer has had the opportunity to learn from important music educators in Brazil and in the US such as Peter Erskine, Lilian Carmona, Terri Lyne Carrington, Lupa Santiago, Carlos Ezequiel, Neal Smith
