Stefanie Preissner

Director 

Stefanie is a screenwriter, director and actor. She is the creator and sole writer of RTE’s 2016 hit Can’t Cope/Won’t Cope. She has written two hugely successful stage plays, Our Father and Solpadeine is My Boyfriend, both of which enjoyed sell-out runs in Dublin and international tours. The latter was also performed in Bucharest, Edinburgh and Australia. As a director, Stefanie’s credits include Two For Joy by Raymond Scannell, Bombshells by Joanna Murray Smith, and What Are They Likeby Lucinda Coxon for The National Theatre Connections. Stefanie graduated from University College Cork with a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies and Spanish. Her first plays Cinderella? and Word Play were written while still at college.
