Roxanne Rogers

Rogers began her work in LA theatre at the first summer of Padua Hills Playwrights’ Festival where she studied with Maria Irene Fornes, Murray Mednick and John Steppling. She won numerous Dramalogue, Critics Circle and LA Weekly awards for her production of John Patrick Shanley’s SAVAGE IN LIMBO. She received Dramalogue Awards for her performances in Susan Champagne’s TAKE A PICTURE and other plays. Rogers performed Phillip Dimitri Galas’ MONA ROGERS IN PERSON directed by Luis Alfaro. She directed O-lan Jones’ THE WOMAN WHO FORGOT HER SWEATER at The Ford Theater. Most recently she directed KING LEAR for The National THEATER OF TURKEY.
