Robin Larsen

Robin Larsen is the recipient of the 2015 Los Angeles Drama Critic’s Circle Award for Career Achievement in Direction. For the Odyssey she directed Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance (LADCC Award for Best Revival), and The Fall to Earth by Joel Drake Johnson. She has directed for South Coast Repertory, the Wallis Annenberg Center, Disney Hall with the LA Philharmonic, and the Fountain, among others. She returns frequently to the Antaeus Company, where she’s directed Mrs. Warren’s Profession (five Ovations nominations), Annie Baker’s adaptation of Uncle Vanya, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses. For Rogue Machine, she helmed the West Coast premiere of Bekah Brunstetter’s Miss Lilly Gets Boned, the West Coast premiere of Four Places by Joel Drake Johnson (Ovation, LADCC and Backstage Garland awards for Best Production), and the Los Angeles premiere of David Harrower’s Blackbird (“Best of 2011” LA Times, LA Weekly, Huffington Post, KCRW, “Best of the Decade” LA Times). Other credits include, the world premiere of Keith Huff’s Pursued By Happiness, the west coast premiere of The Revisionist by Jesse Eisenberg, and the Los Angeles premiere of I and You by Lauren Gunderson. Robin is an Academy Award-winning filmmaker.
