Lu Arróspide

Dancer/Choreographer

Lu is a dancer and choreographer borned and raised in Lima, Perú. She discovered her love for dance at an early age dancing Flamenco. At the age of eleven she had her debut in the professional entertainment world with Candela, Fuerza y Pasión, show directed by Luis Salgado. In 2018 she moved from Perú to LA to pursue her career and in 2022 she graduated with her AOS in Dance Theater from AMDA, in Hollywood. Lu has had wonderful opportunities both: on stage as a performer and off stage choreographing. She was part of the opening ceremonies of the Pan American Games and Paralympics Lima 2019, she has performed in live concerts for international artists, starred in filmed productions such as short films and music videos and in 2020 she signed with Adidas Perú after winning the Adidas Open Forum. With the goal of returning all that life and dance has given her, she joined the social project “Libertad Para Aprender”, where she developed a dance program for the inmates and joined the Gabriella Foundation also known as Everybody Dance LA! as a teaching artist to young kids. As an artist and a mover she is driven by intention, storytelling and versatility. Lu is currently on tour with the singer Mar Solis as a dancer and choreographer of the show. She is ecstatic to keep learning, finding her creative voice and traveling the world dancing.
