Kayla Erickson
Assistant Director
Kayla is a recent graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, with an emphasis in directing and arts education. She’s stoked to be assisting at the Odyssey for the first time! Recent directing credits include Venus In Fur by David Ives, The Tempest by William Shakespeare and this world is for the frat bros by Chloe Xtina, a new play produced at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Some of her favorite things are gymnastics, Japanese culture and David Bowie. She believes life is simultaneously magical, macabre and absurd, and loves exploring this tenuous balance through everything she does.
