Christine Ferriter is an artist working with light, metal, and clay. Recent lighting designs for live performance include After Iphigenia with Critical Mass Performance Group at the Getty Villa, Elevator Repair Service’s workshop showing of Seagull and the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus at Lumberyard Center for Film and Performing Arts; Monument, or King Lear with Source Material Collective at Bootleg Theater (L.A.) and HERE Arts (NYC); Loot with Odyssey Theatre Ensemble; Group Therapy with Poor Dog Group at CAP/UCLA, Loaded with Heidi Duckler Dance at the Ford Amphitheater; andBrainwashed, a new feature documentary based on director Nina Menkes’ performance lecture, Sex and Power: the Visual Language of Oppression in Cinema.
