Bart DeLorenzo is the founding artistic director of Evidence Room theater. At the Odyssey he directed Design for Living, Ghosts, Loot, Hir, Kiss, Go Back to Where You Are, Day Drinkers and A Number, as well as ER co-productions The False Servant, Passion Play, Annapurna (also off-Broadway with The New Group), Ivanov, Margo Veil and The Receptionist, and guest productions Madwomen of the West and Too Much Sun. Also Geffen Playhouse, South Coast Rep, Pittsburgh’s City Theater, Cleveland Playhouse, LATC, Ensemble Theatre of Santa Barbara, East West Players, Theater of NOTE, Rogue Machine, A Noise Within, Antaeus, Skylight – – including premieres by Sandra Tsing Loh, Jacqueline Wright, Carla Ching, Alessandro Camon, Jonathan Caren, Annabelle Gurwitch, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Justin Tanner, Michael Sargent, Peter J. Nieves, Kelly Stuart, Joan Rivers and Donald Margulies. He is on the faculty at CalArts, and has been the recipient of LA Drama Critics Circle awards LA Weekly and Backstage awards, and TCG’s Alan Schneider Director Award.
