Director

Bart DeLorenzo is the Founding Artistic Director of the Evidence Room Theater. At the Odyssey, he has previously directed Ghosts, Loot, Hir, Kiss, Go Back to Where You Are, Day Drinkers and A Number, as well as Evidence Room co-productions The False Servant, Passion Play, Annapurna (also off-Broadway with The New Group), Ivanov, Margo Veil and The Receptionist. Also recent productions at the Geffen Playhouse, South Coast Repertory, Pittsburgh’s City Theater, the Cleveland Playhouse, LATC, the Ensemble Theatre of Santa Barbara, East West Players, Theater of NOTE, Rogue Machine, A Noise Within, Antaeus, Skylight Theatre – including world premieres by Sandra Tsing Loh, Jacqueline Wright, Carla Ching, Alessandro Camon, Jonathan Caren, Annabelle Gurwitch, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Justin Tanner, Michael Sargent, Peter J. Nieves, Kelly Stuart, Joan Rivers, and Donald Margulies. He is on the faculty at CalArts. He has received LA Drama Critics Circle, LA Weekly and Backstage awards, and TCG’s Alan Schneider Director Award.
