Adrian Calderon
Pianist
Adrian is a pianist and instructor who was born and raised in Los Angeles from Costa Rican parents. He attended the Colburn School before going on to earn his B.M. in Piano Performance at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. While he was there he performed regularly with the St. Olaf Orchestra and the Jazz Band. With the latter he went on a tour to Cuba and had joint concerts with several bands there. Since graduating, he has solidified himself within the L.A. music scene; he has a couple weekly residencies and tours with several different bands, collaborating and recording constantly both on other people’s projects and his own. He has also composed for theatre productions and volunteered several times in community theatre projects in Costa Rica. He also teaches privately in town. IG: @goodbyelunar
