Odyssey Theatre Ensemble

Starting out as Assistant Director and Dramaturg in Munich’s fringe scene, at the Opera North Leeds, the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Volkstheater Munich and Kampnagel Hamburg, Barbara later worked as Production Manager and Producer for Theater Freiburg, the Living Theatre, the Left Bank Theatre Group, the International Figurentheater Festival Erlangen and the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival. She was Managing Director of Theater Aalen in Germany and theatre dybbuk in Los Angeles. Now she is Producer and Dramaturg at the Odyssey Theater Ensemble Los Angeles and curating their annual Contemporary Dance Festival. She is also the Managing Director of the Road Theatre Company. As board member of the performance art festival “ARENA der jungen Künste” she got awarded by the city of Erlangen (Germany) for her merits in theatre, cultural exchange and international understanding. She has a Master’s degree in Theatre, German and French Literature and a Master’s degree in Arts Administration.
